1] Smoking: Not to smoke after eating a meal, which results in greatest harm than smoking at the normal hours.
2] Eating Fruits: Many of us would prefer to eat fruits soon after the meal, which is not advisable, as taking fruits after the meal, will bloat the stomach with air. Hence, take fruits one hour before or one or two hours after the meal.
3] Tea Intake: Intake of tea after a meal will harden the proteins in the food and make it difficult for digestion, as tea contains acid.
4] Don't Loosen Your Belt: Don’t loosen your belt after a meal, as it will prevent the intestines to bend.
5] Shower: No bath/shower after a meal –as the blood flow rate is higher than normal rate during shower to the body, hands and legs, this will lead to low blood flow rate into the stomach as a result the digestion system gets affected.
6] Walking: It is blindly believed by most of the diabetic people that going for a walk after a meal may bring about good digestion and would also help them in the reduction of sugar level. But this is absolutely wrong! Walking may prevent the nutrients from getting into the blood due to improper digestion of the system.
7] Bed: Don’t go to bed immediately after the food, as this also causes improper digestion. So , make sure you go to bed at-least after 30 minutes of your meal.
